Today we turn to Luke 9:43-62, where Jesus issues His uncompromising call to discipleship.

In these sobering words, our Lord makes it clear: following Him requires absolute priority over every earthly attachment, complete surrender of our personal ambitions, and a transformed heart toward those we encounter. There is no room for half-hearted commitment in the Kingdom of God. Christ demands our all – not tomorrow, not when convenient, but now. This is the radical obedience that marks authentic faith.
