Today we turn our hearts to the most significant moment in history. In Luke 23:44–49, we witness Jesus—in His final breath—commit His spirit into the Father’s hands (v. 46). What looked like defeat was actually the decisive act that purchased our redemption. His commitment secured our freedom. Now, the question before us is just as weighty: will we commit our lives to Him in response?
