Sometimes the Bible is hard to understand. There can be many sayings of Jesus that may not make sense or even sound weird to us when we hear it for the first time. Our instinct can be to ignore those teachings or even avoid them altogether. I think it's better to see them as opportunities to lean in and dive deeper into God's word!

Jesus doesn't try to confuse us with his words just to be confusing; his words have a deeper meaning that can enrich our relationship with Jesus. I am excited to break down these next teachings of Jesus and explore themes of atonement and abiding!
