One Purpose

Your God-given purpose is not about you; it’s about how you influence others.

In Paul's 1st letter to the Corinthians he addressed a number of issues, all centering around the idea that Christians are called to be one under Jesus. The core of his message is found in verse 1:10 “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought” (NIV). The rest of what Paul teaches about sexuality, marriage, singleness, rights, temptation, equality, love, and the resurrection all build upon the theme of unity. During this series, we’ll unpack how we can live as one under Jesus and practically live out the Gospel in our lives today.
